Halloween Animals

About the event

We will discover and act out what animals and plants do at this time of year as they prepare for the upcoming harsh and cold winter.

We will also reveal some amazing features of spooky animals that are associated with Halloween, where the truth can be stranger than fiction! Your young zoologists will get the chance to hunt as bats and spiders do and uncover many other creepy crawly animal facts!

Children will receive a Wildside Nature 'Autumnal Animals Researcher' certificate for taking part in this workshop.

Booking

To book, please select any one of the events below in our secure booking tool. Follow the steps through to payment where your place(s) will be secured.

  • use the ‘select more’ button to book multiple sessions
  • there is an option to add up to two children per booking
  • we offer a 5% discount when two siblings are booked onto the same session - please use the code SIBDIS when prompted

There are limited places at each location and we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.

Suitable for

Children aged between 5 and 10 years old.

Know before you go

It is important that the children are prepared and wearing suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear. We have a suggested kit list which you should read before arriving.

Cancellations

If you can no longer make it to the session, then please inform us as soon as possible. To stay within current regulations we are very limited on the number of children we can have on each session. If it is 3 days or less before the session, unfortunately we cannot provide a refund.

Weather

We monitor the weather daily prior to the event. If we feel the weather will have a big impact on the day we'll look to reschedule.

A little rain does not stop the show. We always have a safe backup area in case of incoming rain showers.
